Objective : The Aim of this study is to find out efficacy of Yogic practices in pregnant women by Doppler velocimetry studies.
Material and Methods: A study group of 125+55 pregnant women along with a control group of pregnant women was selected for short term & long term study.
Asanas [simplified yogic -physical postures], pranayama [breathing practices], meditation, chanting of omkar, prayers, cleanising practices were performed by them with regularity for one hour daily for average two months. Evaluation was done by taking readings of S/D, R/I &  volume flows across both uterine umbilical arteries & MCA of fetus. Readings were taken at monthly interval & also immediately after practices.
Results : Peadings of S/D R/I Values of both uterine arteries & MCA of fetus show statistically significant decrease with marked increase in volume flows across these arteries compared to control group. Readings taken immediately after practices should decreased flow across MCA of fetus suggesting a possible quietening effect on fetus.

Surprising incidental finding of disappearance of prediastolic notch after 32 weeks of gestation was noted in 50% patients.

Conclusion: Yogic Practices can prove beneficial especialIy for PIH & lUGER to improve utero placental circulation. It is safe, economical, non-invasive, nonpharmacological & acceptable treatement modality.
