Ghantali Mitra Mandal conducts a diploma course in Yoga (recognized by the Govt. ofMaharashtra) every year. This topic was selected by Dr. Ajit Oak for a project as a part of the course. 101 dental practitioners in the city of thane were surveyed to fmd about their lifestyle and occupational disorders. This prompted us to conduct a Yoga camp for dental'-surgeons for the duration of 4 weeks. The Yoga practices were tailor made for the camp considering the participants being in a risk group because of their occupation. The parameters mentioned above were recorded before and after the camp to study the effect of practicing yoga. Conclusions: The results were found to be statictically satisfactory. The result of Flexibility and Endurance improvement after the camp was particularly significant.
